The James Jones Literary Society sponsors the First Novel Fellowship under the auspices of the Creative Writing Program of Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This fellowship is given annually for a fiction work-in-progress by a U. S. Writer who has not yet published a novel. A selection from the winning work is published in Provincetown Arts.
